Welcome to the Dearchary website
My name is Samantha Deary and i live in a small village called Pencoed in South Wales.
I was born into showing dogs as both my parents had Bull Terriers and were CC judges in the Terrier group.
I was showing my first Bull Terrier when i was 4 years old.
Our neighbour had 6 Newfoundlands and i fell in love , vowing that when i had a place of my own that was the breed for me.
So in 1993 i took in a rescue called Jo, great big Lanseer dog , unfortunalty i do not have any photos of him.
He was with us for 8 years , then i purchased a Black Newfie dog called Charlie, and thought i would have a go at showing , he did quite well but he was not the best show newf in the world, so we added to the clan with Willow, from Kjalarnes kennels in Birmingham, Willow excelled in the showring taking 4 Best Puppy In Shows, and countless Best Of Breeds, you can see her on her own page.
I then met my partner Paul through the shows and he has bulldogs so we ended up with both breeds and i love them all dearly.
I have made many genuine friends over the years in and around the showscene , and have loved every minute of it.
